The buttons are very good, conductive rubber, minus the rear ones, which are push buttons and are uncomfortable to use, although there are few games you need them. I’ve bought a couple now and they only took 5-6 days to reach Boston in perfect condition. The SD cards will probably fail eventually so it’s good to replace them asap. The system works perfectly out of the box and you don’t need to know much about computers to drag and drop games onto the SD card.

This thing is awesome. High quality feel and weight. Screen is very bright and resolution is great. Loaded with more games than you could reasonably ever play, and every game I’ve tried so far works great. I haven’t tried loading my own roms on it yet but it uses Emulation Station as the frontend so adding roms and making changes should be easy.
Sound from the mono speaker is accurate and loud if you want it to be. I haven’t tried the headphones yet.
The D-pad is a little stiff and the buttons are a little small for my taste, but those are small compromises I can live with for the price I paid.
I highly recommend this little emulation machine. I’m extremely pleased with it.

Just to say, I own all the original systems, have a Nintendo switch plus online subscription, own all the little mini classic collectible systems… I have a huge library of games, so I feel this gadget is a nifty ride along toy – and man is it fun! I’ve mostly been engrossed in SNES playing and playing DooM 64 so far, but I’ve tried a number of games, and there are SO MANY emulators – and I don’t mean just different systems – I mean FOR EACH SYSTEM! So many settings… if a game isn’t working on this, try that, and the others… It’s really great! The control sticks and pad/buttons are all great quality, the screen beautiful, headphone out high quality! Incredible buy!
